John Frusciante’s Carvin X-100/60B Amp

After joining the Red Hot Chili Peppers in late 1988, John Frusciante used a Carvin amp as part of his early rig. The amp was either a Carvin X-100B or X-60B head, paired with two 4×12 Carvin cabinets. Based on the design of the logo and the black speaker rings (as opposed to the later white ones), the amp appears to have been manufactured sometime in 1987, according to [The Carvin Museum – 1980 Guitar Amplifiers].
