John purchased a Gibson L-0 “Robert Johnson” guitar on February 26, 1997, at Guitars R Us in Hollywood for $2,000. During the same visit, he also bought a sunburst 1964 Fender Jaguar.
John was only seen using the Gibson L-0 once, during a performance at Hollywood Moguls on March 28, 1997. Its fate remains unknown, but it was likely pawned or sold later that year.
