John Frusciante’s MXR Dyna Comp M-102

John began using an MXR Dyna Comp M-102 after rejoining the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2021. In an interview with Total Guitar magazine, he explained that he uses it to achieve more sustain in his clean tone, enhancing the clarity and presence of his sound during performances.

Sometimes the Dyna Comp was just exactly what I needed in terms of getting the right amount of sustain on clean things, and having a more Tatty-like kind of sound.
