John Frusciante’s MXR Super Badass Variac Fuzz
This is one of the pedals that John started using on the Unlimited Love tour, and it has been his main fuzz pedal since he rejoined the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2021. This is definitely one of the pedals that John uses most extensively, and you’ll often hear it in choruses and solos, often paired with a Boss OD-1.
