MXR Super Badass Variac Fuzz became a staple of John’s setup during the Unlimited Love tour and has been his main fuzz pedal since he rejoined the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2021. It’s definitely one of the pedals he uses most extensively, and you’ll often hear it in choruses and solos, often paired with a Boss OD-1.
