Kurt Cobain’s Boss DM-2 Delay

Kurt used a Boss DM-2 Delay circa mid-1987 before the band was even officially called Nirvana. He used it on the song ”If You Must” and possibly other demos, but further research is needed in order to confirm this.

This can be heard in many Nirvana/Kurt recordings from 1987-1988, most notably “If You Must” and “Love Buzz”. It can also be heard on the With The Lights Out boxed set during “Don’t Want It All” and at 3:11 on “Raunchola/Moby Dick”.

I’m pretty sure Kurt used this pedal on the screams on the love buzz solo too!
