Kurt used an Ibanez V300L (previously falsely identified as a PF5L) for Nirvana’s performances at Tower Records, New York, on September 27th, and Northern Lights, Minneapolis, on October 14th, during their Nevermind tour in 1991.

I don’t think that Its an Ibanez PF5L Acoustic. On September 18, 1991 Kurt Cobain buys an Ibanez V300L guitar and a GC70 guitar case at Music 6000, Lacey, WA.
Could be a V300 as well. Where is that information from? Is there a receipt or something from Music 6000?

Sorry for the late reply I didn’t see this until now, I got that Information from Live Nirvana, here’s the link so you can see It for yourself, It was purchased on September 18, 1991 (2 days after the Beehive Video & Records show and 2 days before they started the Nevermind North American Tour). Also the Headstock on this Ibanez Acoustic looks more like the V300 then a PF5L Acoustic.
