Derek Trucks’ Tacoma JR-55 (Already Free)

Derek used this guitar during the “Already Free” studio sessions in 2008/09. The instrument was crafted by a company from Tacoma, Washington, which ceased operations in 2008, four years after being acquired by Fender.

The 55 Series model boasted elegant maple bindings, rich rosewood backs and sides, intricate abalone floral inlays, and a hand-applied UV gloss finish.
