Tim Henson’s Fractal Audio Axe-Fx II XL+ Preamp/Effects Processor

Tim seems to use this preamp/effects processor currently primarily in his live gigs, usually played through a bunch of Orange amps/cabinets.

Right now we play the Orange, but it’s the Axe-FX running through the Orange.

Tim also has one of these at his home studio, but as he pointed out in his Studio Tour video, he doesn’t use it much at all. However in the past, on Polyphia’s first third albums, the Axe-FX II was actually his main effects processor and was used on all of those albums.
