This guitar did not belong to Stevie, but to photographer Byron Barr, who photographed him playing “The Sky Is Crying” on it with a slide at Boston Street Market in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1982. According to Barr, Stevie mentioned that he had played another Firebird earlier in his career, which is a guitar we currently know nothing about.
