Mark added an EHX Pico Pitchfork to his pedalboard in 2025. The way this pedal works is pretty straight forward – it shifts the pitch of the guitar signal up or down by a set interval – an octave, a fifth, a fourth – and can blend that shifted pitch with the dry signal to create harmonies on the fly.
In his 2026 Premier Guitar interview, Mark said it’s there mostly for fun, and as a tribute to Prince, who was a well-known user of pitch shifting throughout his career.
