Mark uses the Boss PH-3 phaser on specific songs during the set, such as Friday Morning. As for settings, his Rate knob is set to around noon, Depth at around 3 o’clock, Res at 11, and Stage is set to 8.
In a 2022 Premier Guitar interview, Mark said that his inspiration for this specific sound is Ernie Isley, the guitarist of The Isley Brothers.
