Mark Knopfler’s Crowther Hot Cake Overdrive

Mark was seen using a Crowther Hot Cake overdrive pedal during the 2005 Shangri-La tour. The pedal is built in New Zealand by Paul Crowther, who came up with the initial design in 1976.

It’s unknown when exactly Mark got his pedal, and it is possible that he used it since the early days, but as said, it was first seen around 2005.
