Jimmy Page’s 1968 Fender Super Reverb

Jimmy Page used a 1968 Fender Super Reverb combo amp briefly during his time with the Yardbirds and in the earliest days of Led Zeppelin. This was just before he received four Rickenbacker Transonic amps, which he used during Led Zeppelin’s first U.S. tour starting in December 1968.

However, he was photographed using both the Rickenbacker Transonics and the Super Reverb on stage, indicating that he brought the Fender combo along for the tour and used it alongside the Rickenbackers.

The Fender Amplifiers you see on stage with Zeppelin in the earliest of days are not for guitar amplification but were the mains for the vocals. Jimmy Page never played through these amps live, he was using the Transonics in this period only.

Amp in the photo might be a blackface Super but it is hard to tell. I kinda see the drip edge that 68s are known for as well.
Could be a hired amp too?
