This 1963 Gibson SG was a gift to James by Bob Rock, a producer who worked on a number of Metallica’s albums. It can be seen in the video for “Turn the Page” from Garage Inc., however, it was most likely not used on the original record (videos show James using his Ken Lawrence Explorer).
