Famous Washburn Dime 3 Guitar Players

The Washburn Dime 3 model was a guitar designed for Dimebag Darrell after he signed a 10-year contract with Washburn in 1994. The design was heavily influenced by Dimebag’s iconic Dean ML, but to avoid copyright infringement, Washburn made subtle adjustments, most notably shortening one of the headstock’s horns.

Dime 3 guitars usually featured Floyd Rose tremolos and pickups identical to those in his “Dime from Hell” setup—typically a combination of a Seymour Duncan SH1-‘59 and a Bill Lawrence X500XL.
