The PRS NF-3 is a solid body electric guitar, featuring a poplar body with a flat top design. It has a 22-fret neck made from maple, constructed with a scarf joint for durability, and shaped in PRS’s wide-thin profile. The scale length is 25 inches, with a rosewood fretboard that has a 10-inch radius and is adorned with PRS’s signature bird inlays. The neck has a width of 1 11/16″ at the nut and 2 1/4″ at the body, and a depth of 13/16″ at the first fret and 57/64″ at the 12th fret.

The NF-3 is equipped with PRS’s patented tremolo bridge, PRS-designed tuners, and nickel hardware. Its electronics feature three Narrowfield DD “S” pickups. These pickups are controlled via a volume and tone knob and a 5-way blade switch, allowing players to toggle between various pickup combinations. The guitar has a bolt-on neck design and a truss rod that is double-acting.
