Famous Martin OM-28JM Guitar Players

The Martin OM-28 JM is a limited edition model crafted in 2002-2003, specifically designed in collaboration with John Mayer with a limited run of a total of 404 made. It features a solid Engelmann spruce top paired with East Indian rosewood for the back and sides, and it has a mahogany neck for added stability and warmth.

Notable design elements include sterling silver binding on the headstock and bridge edges, as well as herringbone binding around the body. The fretboard showcases a unique triangle-shaped inlay at the 12th fret, inspired by the pilot’s triangle on wristwatches. Additionally, John Mayer’s signature is engraved between the 19th and 20th frets.
