The AZ series, introduced by Ibanez in 2018, is a line of solid body electric guitars designed for Hoshino Gakki. While inspired by the classic Fender Stratocaster, the AZ features a distinct offset double-cutaway design with less pronounced horns and a new Super All Access neck joint.

Unlike the RG series, which typically uses Floyd Rose-style double locking tremolos, the AZ series employs Fender-style synchronized tremolo units without locking nuts.
