Famous Guitarists Who Played the Gibson Heritage
The Gibson Heritage is a dreadnought acoustic guitar model introduced in 1965, with a 12-string version released in 1968. Early models, made before 1967, are highly sought-after by collectors due to their use of Brazilian rosewood, as later versions used Indian rosewood. The guitar features a rosewood back and sides, a mahogany neck, and a spruce top. Its design includes square shoulders, dot inlays, and a tortoiseshell pickguard. Production of the Gibson Heritage continued until 1982.
