Famous Guitarists Who Played the Fender Musicmaster
The Fender Musicmaster, introduced in 1955, was Fender’s first 3/4 scale student-model guitar. Initially sharing features with the Duo-Sonic, it underwent several redesigns over the years, including a transition to Mustang-style bodies and components. Despite being discontinued in 1982, the Musicmaster saw continued use into the 1970s and was eventually reissued in 2020 with updated pickups. Notable players include David Byrne and Liz Phair.
