Fender Guitars
Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, founded by Leo Fender in 1946, is a leading American manufacturer of guitars and amplifiers, renowned for models like the Stratocaster, Telecaster, and Precision Bass. Initially starting as a radio repair shop in 1938, Fender shifted focus to designing and manufacturing electric guitars and amplifiers. After selling the company to CBS in 1965, Fender’s quality declined under cost-cutting measures. However, in 1985, Fender was bought back by its employees and renamed Fender Musical Instruments Corporation. The company then relocated its headquarters to Scottsdale, Arizona, and expanded production to Japan and Mexico, continuing to produce iconic models and innovate in the music industry.
