The Rickenbacker Rose Morris Model 1993 was a 12-string semi-hollow electric guitar made for the British distributor Rose Morris in the mid-1960s. It was closely related to the Rickenbacker 330/12, but used an export-market design with an f-shaped soundhole instead of Rickenbacker’s usual slash-style soundhole, along with a bound body, dot fingerboard markers, two pickups, and mono output on original examples.
The model is associated with the 1960s British rock scene and later influenced Rickenbacker’s modern 1993Plus reissue, which updated the original design with features such as a wider neck, three vintage-style pickups, stereo output, and a trapeze tailpiece.
