The Marshall 2555 is a 100-watt guitar amplifier head from Marshall’s JCM 25/50 Silver Jubilee series, released in 1987 as part of the company’s anniversary line. It is switchable between 100 and 50 watts and uses four EL34 power tubes, making it the higher-powered head in the Silver Jubilee range. The original 1987 version came in silver tolex with a silver/chrome control panel, while later versions of the 2555 were also produced in black tolex with a gold panel as part of the JCM 25/50 Custom range.
