The THBB10 is an Ibanez AZ series solid body electric guitar introduced in 2019 as the first signature model for Tim Henson of Polyphia. Produced in Indonesia as part of the Premium line, it features an American basswood body, a one-piece roasted maple neck, and a roasted maple fingerboard with 24 stainless steel frets. The guitar is equipped with custom DiMarzio Notorious pickups, a T1502 two-point synchronized tremolo bridge, and Gotoh MG-T locking tuning machines.
The “BB” in the model name stands for Black Beauty, reflecting its aesthetic inspiration from the classic Gibson Les Paul Black Beauty, including its black finish and gold hardware. The THBB10 was discontinued after 2022.
