The Hondo H-737, also known as the Deluxe Series H-737, is a Korean-made Les Paul-style electric guitar produced by Samick for Hondo in the early 1980s. It was one of Hondo’s single-cutaway Gibson-style copies, positioned below the more upscale H-740 and related to earlier H-732/H-735 models. The H-737 had a laminated nato body with an arched top, maple veneer on sunburst finishes, bolt-on nato neck, rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, 22 frets, and a 24.75-inch scale length. Early versions used two single-coil pickups hidden under humbucker-style covers, while the 1982-1983 Deluxe Series versions were updated with real covered humbuckers or, on some 1983 examples, open-coil zebra X-14 humbuckers.
