The Hagstrom II, sold in the United States as the F-200, was a Swedish-made solid-body electric guitar produced during the mid-1960s. It featured a thin double-cutaway body, bolt-on neck, Hagstrom’s fast-playing slim neck profile, two single-coil pickups, individual pickup/tone switches, and the company’s Tremar vibrato system on many examples. The model belonged to Hagstrom’s numbered electric guitar line, with the two-pickup Hagstrom II/F-200 sitting below the three-pickup Hagstrom III/F-300. Because of the different market names, the same guitar is commonly listed either as a Hagstrom II, Hagstrom F-200, or Hagstrom II/F-200.
