Gary first used this guitar sometime around 1985, and it can be seen during a gig played with Phil Lynott that year on Channel 4’s ECT show.
The guitar was likely made specifically for Gary, although it was mostly based on a mid-80s Hamer Special model. It featured white finish on a mahogany body, two DiMarzio humbuckers, 22-fret mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, and a Floyd Rose tremolo bridge.
