This is the amp that Angus used in the early days of the band. Likely, the Marshall Model 1959 Super Lead was used to record AC/DC’s first two or three albums.

In 2016, when the interview was conducted, he was running nine Marshall Super Leads heads on stage – a number that increased depending on the size of the venue.
Only one of Angus’s amps are a vintage Super Lead. The others are reissues from 1987.
